1. Promoter This giveaway is run by ShaperX Surf Craft Services and Groundswell Ballito Surf Shop, Unit 3 Central Park, 14 Platinum Crescent, Milnerton, [contact email].
2. Eligibility This giveaway is open to anyone located in South Africa at the time of entry. The prize is limited to delivery or collection within South Africa only — we are unable to ship internationally. Employees of ShaperX, Sharp Eye Surfboards, and Groundswell Ballito Surf Shop, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
3. How to Enter Entrants can:
- Follow @groundswellballito, @shaperx, and @sharpeyesurfboardsafrica on Instagram
- Tag a friend in the comments of the giveaway post (maximum 10 tags/entries per person)
- Share the post to their Instagram story and DM us "SHAPER" for a bonus entry
- Like the giveaway post
4. Giveaway Period Entries open 15 June at 17:00 (5pm) and close 18 July at 17:00 (5pm), South African time (SAST). Entries received after the close date and time will not be counted.
5. Prize One (1) custom Sharp Eye surfboard, as specified on the giveaway post, plus R5,000 worth of Groundswell Ballito Surf Shop goodies. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. Winner Selection The winner will be selected at random from eligible comment entries using a third-party comment-picker tool. Bonus story-share entries will be added to the draw pool. The draw will take place on or around 18–19 July.
7. Notification The winner will be notified via Instagram DM and announced on our Instagram story/profile. The winner must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize, or a new winner may be selected.
8. Verification Winners must meet all entry requirements (following the required accounts) at the time of the draw. The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify and redraw if requirements are not met.
